Stacey Campton

As an Aboriginal woman descendant from Gunggari country in south-western Queensland I’ve experienced and share my strong cultural identity that First Nations people have. I have the experience of working in First Nations affairs for 30+ years in all sectors – government, education (tertiary) and more recently not for profit.

I have enabled change through govt policy and programming, direct assistance to First Nations tertiary students and now in an organization whose remit is systems change.

My current role is to support access by our people to self-determine their education, health, culture and knowledge and economic independence in holistic ways using a systems change, human rights approach.
